Video of Construction of Cathedral - Matt Solonyka, took movies of the construction of the cathedral back in the early 1960's. Besides being a member of the cathedral, he was also a partner of Semmler Construction Ltd. who were the general contractors for the construction project.

Besides featuring scenes of the different phases of construction, there are scenes that include his father, Matt Solonyka and Dr. Peter Kondra Sr. on the site and also the blessing of the site by Metropolitan Ilarion with clergy and Cathedral members. There is also a panoramic view of the city from a platform outside the centre dome of the Cathedral.
